Clover Market – the Colver Market heats up in winter with its large indoor market experience including over 60 vendors, food trucks and even festive brunch cocktails. Factor in fine foods and a great cocktail and you are sure to enjoy this popular annual event. Located at the 23rd St Armory, the event takes place from 10 am to 5 pm on January 24th and 25th. Blue Cross RiverRink and Winterfest –for more than 2 decades, visitors have been enjoying this fun annual attraction. Beginning before the holiday’s, the winter appeal doesn’t end after the New Year but continues all the way until March. Pleasant both day and night, the riverrink is the perfect way to enjoy an hour of skating or a day skating and hanging out with plenty of warm places to relax during the winter months not to mention arcade games and skeeball for the kids. Outdoors, enjoy a holiday beverage or some local brews and hang out by the firepit.
Night at the Zoo – last on our list of must see attractions/events in Philadelphia in winter is the adults only night at the zoo at the Philadelphia Zoo this winter on Saturdays January 17th and February 14th. This popular sleep over allows adults the opportunity to learn more and enjoy the zoo WITHOUT the kids. Learn about the nighttime habits at the zoo and even the historic haunted areas of the zoo.
